THE ARTIST ON HER WORK

The museum director, Gerald Matt, was eccentric and reminded me of Gabriele D’Annunzio, a poet that lived in the Vittoriale on Lake Garda, where I spent my childhood in Northern Italy. His dream for the opening inspired a performance based on a minimal composition, and reminiscent of an army, a Donald Judd or a minimalistic painting.
